What is included in this package?

This is an introductory offer which includes a 10 month membership program which offers

  • Course content with On-lesson Discussions

    The course content is presented in the form of a notes page and includes photos and videos. Each module or chapter will be broken down into topics and lessons based on the learning objectives as presented in the CSEC Chemistry syllabus. Each chapter contains practice questions as well as questions throughout the content to get you to think independently. You will also be able to create discussions and engage other enrolled students about certain topics.

  • Weekly Live Meetings

    This one hour session is led by your class tutor/facilitator and is a chance to review topics and ask questions based on your course materials, practice questions and past paper attempts.

  • Community of students

    Built into your course is a community of your peers (other students enrolled in this course). In this community you get to share ideas, questions, stories, etc which will help you further grasp the topics. This community can be used for homework help and will be monitored by your course facilitators to ensure that your discussions are on the right track.

Alberta Henry

Senior Chemistry Instructor

Mrs Henry has been a dedicated chemistry educator for 18 years. She holds a Masters of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of the West Indies. She also attained a post graduate diploma in the teaching of science, having been assessed at the tertiary level. She has been a CXC marker for both CSEC Chemistry exams and CSEC Chemistry SBAs and has taught chemistry from Secondary level to the University level where she was a tutor. Currently she lectures CAPE Chemistry unit one.

Dr Michaella Charles

Senior Chemistry Instructor

Dr. Michealla Charles has been an educator for the past 19 years. She holds a PhD in Science Education with a focus in Organic Chemistry from the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus. She has taught and tutored Chemistry at the CSEC level and undergraduate level respectfully. She currently lecturers CAPE Chemistry Unit II as well as Science Education at the Undergraduate level. Dr. Charles also serves as an assistant examiner for CXC where she marks the CSEC Chemistry examination.

Dr. Sharna Casimir

Senior Chemistry Instructor

Dr. Sharna Casimir, hails from the Nature Island of the Caribbean, Dominica, and has been a Science Educator for 18 years. She holds a PhD in Chemistry Education, specializing in The Mole Concept. She is currently a Graduate Science Teacher at Queen’s College, Barbados teaching Chemistry at the CSEC and CAPE Level. She is also an Assistant Supervisory Examiner in Chemistry for the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) and has been a CSEC Chemistry SBA Moderator since 2010 and a CAPE Chemistry SBA Moderator since 2018. Dr. Casimir has also been a university tutor at the UWI Cave Hill Campus and is currently a lab supervisor at the UWI Cave Hill.

Senior Biology Instructor

Naomi Charles has been a biology teacher for the past 18 years. She graduated from the University of the West Indies with a Bsc in Biology. She currently teaches Biology at the CAPE level. She serves as a moderator for the SBA component of the CSEC Biology examination and an assistant examiner for CAPE Biology examination.
